Last Wednesday, 3 November 2021, the RCBS organized a Vocational Tour to The Green School Bali, located in Saren, Sibang Kaja, Abiansemal, Badung. Mr. Mads Hedegaard, the school’s Marketing Manager, took the RCBS participants on a 45-minute tour of the school /grounds. The open and green space for students to learn is just unbelievable.
Once the tour was completed, Mr. Hedegaard escorted the group to an open-air classroom where he introduced our Guest Speaker, a Grade 10 student, I Ketut Darma Dipta from Ubud, to the attendees.
Dipta talked for about 20 minutes explaining the reasons behind his school project – LIQUIFY. His talk was very inspiring. Anita has included more details about this project in her meeting minutes, with a brief explanation of what this young man has accomplished.
After Dipta had finished his talk, P Patrick thanked him on behalf of the RCBS and presented him with the Club’s banner and Rotary mug. P Patrick then told the attendees that PP Sue Winski, from the RC of Bali Ubud Sunset, had recommended that the RCBS consider having Dipta as a guest speaker. Thank you PP Sue for your great suggestion.
