Today, PE T. Patrick van Kampen and Club Projects Committee Chairperson VP Jeni Kardinal along with the assistance of Yayasan Literasi Anak Indonesia distributed the following items to FIVE schools in Puhu Village: 500 library books, 4 bookshelves, 10 cushions, 4 mats, and a number of posters. During June and July 2021, before the schools reopen, teachers from each school will participate in a number of librarian training sessions. This is the final stage of the RCBS’ Rotary International Global Grant # 1410647 which had a budget of IDR 231,065,000 (US$ 16,219). A special thank you goes to former member PAG Marilyn Carson for initiating this project in 2017.
