CONGRATULATIONS RCBS ON YOUR 12th BIRTHDAY.
Well done Isabel and Melati Wijsen (both students at the Green School) for the excellent presentation of your project, “Bye Bye Plastic Bags”.
Isabel and Melati also presented an alternative cloth “Hands On” bags to use instead of plastic bags. They need funding to produce more of these alternative bags. 
On June 14, 2014, there will be a Plastic Festival and workshop with a fashion show and fun gathering for this cause in Canggu.
At the end of the presentation by Isabel and Melati, RCBS members donated Rp2.1million to the “Bye Bye Plastic Bags” project.
Well done Rtns. Detlev and Lusi for raising Rp. 660,000 at their last Sunday’s brunch for the Yayasan Senyum (Smile Foundation).
Rotarians don’t forget that on Sunday, 1st June 2014, Detlev and Lusi’s brunch will have a special cook, Mariella. All members and friends are all welcome.
Don’t forget PDG Al Purwa and PP Marina Purwa’s announcement about the RC Kuta’s 25th Anniversary “Pirate Night” to be held on Sunday, 29th June 2014 on the “Splendid” Phinisi Vessel, starting at 17:00 pm with fellowship at Dermaga II Harbour, Denpasar,( cruising) (take off at 18:30 pm). The tickets are Rp. 250,000 each and for children (ages 2-12 years) RP. 150,000 each. The attire requested is with a Pirate theme and there will be a prize for the best dressed. Besides viewing a beautiful sunset, there will be a buffet dinner, cake cutting, a belly dancer, a fire dance and live music. It will be fun with games, prizes, door prizes .
