2004 and Putu has now had 4 repairs. Lip, soft palate, joining his upper jaw and cosmetic repair to correct his nose.Unfortunately the parents did't take the free transport to have his stiches removed in Denpasar. They were removed locally-too early - with the result you can see. |

Lu Wantrini October 2004. She didn't have any friends and always sat at the front of the class so only the teacher could see her face. |

Lu April 2005. She has friends now, doesn't sit in the front row any more and joins the other children singing. It's not over for Little Lu yet as her upper jaw has to be joined and lots of work on her teeth, but what a transformation already. |
