Rotary in Indonesia

The first Rotary Club in Indonesia was established in 1927. By 1941 there were 26 clubs with 219 members. Rotary activities ceased during World War II and resumed in 1946. By 1961 there were 17 clubs with 553 members. Rotary activities ceased again during 1961-1970. Since that time District 3400 Indonesia has grown to include 87 clubs with 1,850 members.

The Rotary Clubs of Bali are: Denpasar - 1983, Sanur - 1987, Kuta - 1989, Singaraja - 1991, Segara - 1991, Taman - 1991, Nusa Dua - 1992, Tohpati – 1995, Ubud – 2001, Seminyak – 2002, Denpasar Kota – 2002, Jimbaran – 2003, and Niti Mandala – 2003.
